Thanks to the generosity of our community the shelter is not in need of donations of goods at this time. But, you are still welcome to drop off donations at the shelter and any donation that they cannot use we will make sure goes to where it is needed most. The Santa Monica Animal Shelter is open. We encourage anyone interested in adopting to please visit the shelter. They have so many animals waiting to be adopted and more may arrive due to the wildfires.
Many of the dogs have been waiting over a year! Far too long to be waiting in the stressful shelter environment, an environment that is sadly even more stressful right now.
Lionel is such a sweet and friendly dog, he has been waiting since January 2024! Visit the shelter to adopt Lionel.
We are incredibly grateful for all the support in 2024 and look forward to a fantastic 2025!
